Philippe Etchebest and Nightmare in the Kitchen in Argelès-sur-Mer

After a first remarkable passage in 2018, at Canet-en-Roussillon (read below), the Meilleur Ouvrier de France and charismatic chef once again lands on the Catalan coast.

And it is in Argelès-sur-Mer, within the restaurant Le Chalutier, near the beach, which Philippe Etchebest put down his suitcases a few months ago to help Isabella and Daniel.

“A family on the verge of explosion”

This couple dropped everything to acquire this tourist restaurant, and invested all his savings. They are accompanied on a daily basis by Michael, Daniel’s son, who works in the kitchen. But “as soon as he arrived, the chef very quickly understood that this family history was not going to be easy. Because in this establishment, there are plenty of stories… whether in the dining room or in the kitchen”, presents the summary of the episode.

“And to top it all off: if everything is fine on the front, behind the scenes, everyone blames the other!” Nevertheless, even if no one wants to say anything, the leader will do everything to help them and bring out the truth! We must act quickly because it’s a whole family that is on the verge of explosion…”

A previous visit to Canet-en-Roussillon

There are four yearsPhilippe Etchebest had come to the aid of the restaurant “Madrid” in Canet-en-Roussillon. An episode which had been followed by almost three million viewers, the best audience of the season.

Unfortunately, the establishment, renamed “The Much Thing”, had been placed in judicial liquidation and had definitively closed its doors shortly after the passage of Philippe Etchebest.
