This Porsche 911 Turbo S Techart would be faster than a Tesla Model S Plaid on the 0 to 100 km/h

TechArt has just unveiled its version of the 911 Turbo S. As a result, we discover a high-performance car that could well claim better performance than the Tesla Model S Plaid with a 0 to 100 km / h in just 2.1 seconds.

Those familiar with the world of tuning have already heard of TechArt. For the uninformed, TechArt builds some of the craziest Porsches on the market, both in terms of performance and looks. What you see here is the tuning company’s vision of the Porsche 911 Turbo S. Total power is increased by 60 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. As standard, your 911 Turbo S develops 650 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. After the “small” power increase signed TechArt, you go to 710 horsepower and 900 Nm.

TechArt simply calls this version the “TechArt Turbo”. It can be your 911 if you have $317,000 to spend. Fortunately, TechArt also offers a warranty that covers you for approximately 17,000 kilometers. TechArt fits a new valved exhaust with carbon tailpipes so the Flat-6 can breathe better. In addition to this, TechArt provides what the company calls a “performance kit”. Unfortunately, we do not specify what exactly this changes. But we imagine that the engine map has been revised and that the car has some new parts to see its weight drop.

Between luxury and sportiness

Inside, TechArt removed the rear seats from the Turbo. This should certainly lighten the car by a few tens of kilos. In their place is now a roll bar. The relief continues on the outside where a brand new carbon shield appears as well as many parts at the level of the air intake, the spoiler, the diffuser and the mirrors.

Finally, TechArt is making some chassis and handling tweaks with new short springs and lighter Cup 2 tire rims. TechArt has yet to reveal any performance on this supercharged version of the 911 Turbo S. But the 0 to 100 km / h could well take only 2.1 seconds according to some rumors. Finally something to scare the Tesla Model S Plaid… or almost!
