New wave of vehicle recalls for Tesla in the United States. This time, indicates the American highway safety agency (NHTSA), it is a question of a possible failure related to their electric power steering system, especially when cars are driven over bumps or potholes. To remedy this possible malfunction, a free and remote update is necessary on Model S and Model X built between 2017 and 2021. According to Tesla, 97% of affected vehicles had already benefited from such an update as of November 1.. Finally, the American manufacturer says it has identified 314 cars on its side concerned while ensuring that they have no knowledge of any accident, injury or death caused by the failure. Anyway, this new reminder follows the one at the end of September, when the company had to recall just over a million vehicles because of a risk of pinching linked to its electric window safety device.
