Tesla launches new Superchargers in France

After opening its network of Superchargers to vehicles from competing brands, Tesla is increasing its number of charging stations in France with a new opening in Avignon.

28 terminals in Avignon

Before departures on vacation Tesla has just put its Avignon station into service, which has no less than 28 locations. Which is far larger than the average 11 locations of European stations. A wide infrastructure which is explained by a very busy A7 motorway during holiday departures.

Increase in installations in France

Elon Musk’s company has also launched 11 other stations in France this month of June 2022. Thus Montpellier, Avignon, Blagnac, Chatellerault, Metz, Saint-Quentin, Neuville en Ferrain, Brest, Poitiers, Saint-Julien-en -Genevois, Tournus receive Superchargers. In 1 year, Tesla has expanded its network in France by 50%.

There are now 800 stations in 30 European countries that make up the Californian manufacturer’s network.
