Rodez: finally an opening date for Big Gachou, Sébastien Gaches’ 100% Aveyron fast food

It is “around October 20” that Big Gachou will land on Victor-Hugo Avenue in Rodez. Chef Sébastien Gaches will import his famous black burger there: the Black Flambadou.

The “rumor” of the opening of a new restaurant with a black and local burger on a short menu since this summer of 2022, and chef Sébastien Gaches has confirmed that he is behind this project during the month of September.

We now know when the restaurant will open, which will take the name of Big Gachou: around October 20, 2022! He will settle at 19 avenue Victor-Hugo in Rodez. You will find there one of the flagship products of the Hôtel du Viaur in Ségur, the Black Flambadou, a black burger like the paintings of Pierre Soulages made up of products from Aveyron. A creation that is the pride of the establishment of Sébastien Gaches and who participated in the Coupe de France de Burger in 2020.

“A Kid’s Dream”

Chef Sébastien Gaches also unveiled the restaurant’s logo, realizing at the same time “a childhood dream”: “I’ve had this idea in mind since high school, where we had carried out on paper a fast-food project that ‘with local products with a certain Daniel Lutrand (now a chef at the Pastis Restaurant). How kids’ dreams can come true, even more than 20 years later”.

Because this will be the concept of the establishment: a 100% Aveyron fast-food. Thanks to an open kitchen, customers will be able to follow the preparation of their dish, and in particular the famous Black Flambadou.
