Recipe Grilled chickpeas with spices

Ingredients

  • 265g drained chickpeas
  • 1 C. olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of Espelette pepper
  • 1 C. paprika
  • 1 C. cumin powder

Preparation

Drain the chickpeas then rinse them. Place them on absorbent paper or in a clean cloth and dry them well.

Rub them well to remove the “little skin”.

Place the dried chickpeas in a salad bowl then drizzle them with olive oil and sprinkle with the spices.

Toss to coat and pour onto a baking tray lined with baking paper in a single layer.

Bake for 20 minutes at 190°C. Remove to a small bowl and serve as an appetizer!
