As reported The Independent Friday, several products are under tension. The fuel shortage is hitting the refrigerated trucking sector hard. They transport temperature-controlled goods and need off-road diesel to run the fridges in the trucks. Thus, if the fuel shortage were to last, there could be “food shortages” transported in these trucks.
