Elon Musk is convinced his teenage daughter Vivian is alienated from him because she was taught to despise the wealthy.
The billionaire tech tycoon’s eldest daughter is now 18 and he has opened up about their rocky relationship in a new interview with the Financial, insisting she thinks he is ‘bad’ because of his education.
He told the publication: “It’s pure communism and a general feeling that if you’re rich you’re bad. That [la relation] may change, but I have a very good relationship with everyone else [enfants]”.
It comes four months after the split was made public in court papers Vivian filed in California as part of her application to legally change her gender from male to female and her name to Vivian Jenna Wilson, the maiden name from his mother.
In the documents, she says of the Tesla and SpaceX founder, “I no longer live with my biological father and do not wish to be related to him in any way.”
Vivian and her twin brother Griffin were born from Elon’s first marriage to Justine Wilson. The former couple are also parents to 16-year-old triplets Kai Musk, Saxon Musk and Damian Musk. Their eldest son Nevada died of sudden infant death syndrome when he was 10 weeks old.
Elon is also the father of two children with an ex-pop star, Grimes, a two-year-old son named X AE A-XII, and a 22-month-old daughter, Exa Dark Sideræl. Over the summer, it was reported that he fathered twins with Shivon Zillis, an executive at his company Neuralink.
