Eight good places to eat for less than €15 in Brussels

Whether it’s the end of the month or simply a slightly more complicated period, there’s never any question of depriving yourself. With the help of Dominique Deslauriers, the one behind the very (very) cool blog Tips From a Waitress, we have listed for you eight addresses in Brussels to eat well under 15 €.

The video of the day :

1. Nona

With his pizzas between €7.90 and €14.90 and his organic glasses of wine at €3.90, Nona is the far from overrated Italian to feast on on the side of Merode. Ditto for the address rue Sainte-Catherine where pasta dishes are available between €9.90 and €14.90.

Where ? Rue Sainte-Catherine 7 & 17-19 and Avenue Tervueren 5.

2. Shi Shang

The address does not pay mine. However, it is the meeting place par excellence to spend a minimum while enjoying tasty Thai cuisine. On the menu ? Fried noodles with chicken at €9, chicken with sweet and sour sauce at €10 or scampis with vegetables at €12.

Where ? Chaussée d’Alsemberg 125, 1060 Saint-Gilles

3. Smash

With its delicious smash burgers at €9.50 and its glass of organic wine at €4, this street address located a stone’s throw from Flagey has it all.

Where ? Rue Van Elewyck 1, 1050 Ixelles

4. Monella

This is the address to go and sit at the counter and taste good Neapolitan specialties. Street food atmosphere here, you can taste a bomba fritta, pizza fritta or more traditional pizzas between €9.50 and €13.

Where ? Chaussée d’Ixelles 347, 1050 Ixelles

5. Bia Mara

We taste their classic, a delicious fish & chips for 15 €, and we pretend we are still on vacation.

Where ? Chicken market street 41, 1000 Brussels

6. Ballekes

The meatball in tomato sauce or rabbit sauce is your guilty pleasure? At Ballekes, you order a Zinneke (€12.90) or Dikkenek (€13.90) menu depending on how hungry you are with one or two meatballs and the side and sauce of your choice.

Where ? Chapeliersstraat 3, 1000 Brussels

7. The Parrot

This is the address that needs no introduction to enjoy good pittas around €10 in a nice setting before or after the cinema, for example, or just to meet up with friends without a headache.

Where ? Rue Watteeu 31, 1000 Brussels

@the parrot

8. Au Bon Bol

If you’re not afraid to wait a bit and seeing the photo of your dish on the menu doesn’t put you off too much, Au Bon Bol has become an institution in the center for its ultra-melting homemade noodles. They oscillate between €12 and €13, but it’s the noodle soup with pork chops that we choose above all (at €11).

Where ? Rue Paul Devaux 9, 1000 Brussels
