A charitable soul had been feeding them for 2 weeks, but could not approach them to collect them, because they were too fearful. This is also the person who had contacted the volunteer about them.

The dogs had not been spared from the elements. ” We had the worst heat waves and storms “, recount Suzette Hall, who confides that, at that time, she did not expect to find them after these weather episodes. Yet they were still there, just laying next to each other “.

She first tried to retrieve them using a cage trap, but the latter could not accommodate them together. She then changed her approach; now it was a matter of catching one with a capture lasso, then luring the other into the cage.

Suzette Hall started with the male, whom she called Camryn. She took the time to gain his trust and approach him, before unfurling the lasso around his neck. She then put him in her van.

The founder of Logan’s Legacy then began to prepare the cage for the female, christened Emma, but the latter was obsessed with the fate of her brother. She kept circling around the vehicle where he was. The dog wanted to join him at all costs. A boon for Suzette Hallwho came back on board and caressed for a long time Camryn to show his sister that they were safe.

“So happy to be reunited”

Emma ended up jumping in the back of the van to find Camryn. ” They were so happy to be reunited said their benefactress, who immediately took them to the vet. The dogs were separately examined, sterilized and vaccinated. Their reunion after the visit was even more emotional than that which took place in the vehicle. “They kept touching noses as if to say, ‘OK, we’re together. Everything is fine “, relates Suzanne Hall.

A little after, Camryn and Emma were placed in foster care. Suzanne Hall is now working to find them a forever home, where they can continue to thrive together. ” I won’t separate these two “, she concludes.
