The 19th restaurant The Malt Counter will be opening in a few months. It will be the 4th establishment of the brand to settle in the Oise. Known for a generous cuisine of popular brasseries, and in particular dishes cooked with beer, Le Comptoir du Malt will serve its dishes to customers in the south-east of the department.
It’s at Crepy-en-Valois that the regional brewery brand has chosen to establish itself. Under construction in the extension of the commercial area of La Croix Cailleuxthe restaurant will be located a few meters from the new Darty store and the Bureau Vallée brand.
The opening of the restaurant is scheduled for the beginning of April 2023. With an area of 560m2 on the ground, the restaurant will have a capacity of 220 seats, including a terrace.
30 open-ended positions
It’s a exceptional recruitment that the sign will begin soon. 30 open-ended positions will be available in the building. The Comptoir du Malt specifies that a “seven-week training” will be carried out by the candidates.

The Crépy-en-Valois employment center will organize recruitment and information sessions from December 5, 2022. “Candidates can already contact the Pôle Emploi branch,” explains the company.
The 55,560 inhabitants of the Pays du Valois will be able to enjoy the atmosphere of the North just a stone’s throw away, and some will be able to work there.
